Another new oceanfront condo tower is planned for Sunny Isles Beach. Turnberry Ocean Club will rise 52 stories and contain 150 exclusive residences. The luxury tower will be located at 18501 Collins Avenue.

In response to high demand, another new luxury condo building is under construction in Fort Lauderdale. Adagio on the Bay will overlook the Intracoastal Waterway and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park at 1110 Seminole Drive. The waterfront, boutique building will contain twelve 2 to 3-bedroom residences.

The Mansions at Acqualina condo tower in Sunny Isles Beach has been topped off. At 649 feet, the ultra-luxury oceanfront tower is now the 5th-tallest building in Florida.

The new Conrad Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Residences is set to open in 2015. Formerly the Trump International Hotel and Tower, the Conrad is currently undergoing 34 million dollars in renovations and is determined to bring a new level of design and luxury to Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The foundation of the Porsche Design Tower Miami will be poured this weekend. Set to rise in Sunny Isles Beach, 175 concrete trucks will enter the 2.2-acre oceanfront site and pour concrete continuously for 24 hours.

Home prices in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties increased 16.5 percent in January, compared to January 2013. Home prices also increased on a month-to-month basis. The South Florida area was one of only 7 metropolitan areas to post price increases from December 2013 to January 2014. The month-to-month gain in Miami was .7 percent, the second largest increase in the country.
