South Florida real estate is still in high demand. Existing home sales and prices in Palm Beach and Broward Counties once again rose in February.
In Broward County, the median price of existing homes rose 12 percent, compared to February 2013. Home sales modestly increased 1 percent in the same time period. In Palm Beach County, the median price of existing homes rose 16 percent. Palm Beach home sales were also up 1 percent.
More owners are also starting to list their homes for sale in South Florida. The additional inventory is much needed, as demand remains high. South Florida homes are selling quickly and at near asking price.
