The Miami real estate market continued to show strength in May. The median sales price of both existing single-family homes and condos increased, and demand remained strong.

South Florida home prices increased again in May. The median price of an existing single-family home in Broward County rose 10 percent from a year earlier, and the median price of an existing single-family home in Palm Beach County increased 7 percent in the same time period. Miami-Dade County saw price increases of 13 percent.

One of the two condo towers planned for the Brickell City Centre megaproject has opened for sales. The luxury condos in Reach Brickell City Centre are priced from 550,000 dollars to 2.5 million dollars. The exclusive tower will contain 390 condominiums.
