A Jeff Koons sculpture owned by the residents of Oceana Bal Harbour is on loan for a world tour through the Whitney Museum in New York City, Centre Pompidou in Paris, Guggenheim in Bilbao and MALBA in Buenos Aires. The “Pluto and Proserpina” sculpture will then be on permanent display at Oceana Bal Harbour. It marks the first time a work of art owned by residents of a condo development has embarked on a world exhibition tour.
Jeff Koons, the most expensive living artist at auction, created two sculptures for Oceana Bal Harbour. Along with “Pluto and Proserpina”, “Ballerina” will also adorn the luxury building’s breathtaking 5-story breezeway.
Oceana Bal Harbour is scheduled for completion in 2016. The 28-story oceanfront building will contain 239 condos. The lavish residences will offer panoramic views, spacious balconies, floor-to-ceiling glass, private elevators and more.
