According to a study by the New York Times, South Florida is one of the country's easiest places to live. The study used data from every county in the United States to determine the quality of life based on the median household income, obesity rate, percentage of residents with a college education, life expectancy, unemployment rate and disability rate.
While the study painted a picture of a prospering Midwest and Northeast, much of the Southeast fell to the bottom of the rankings. However, South Florida, especially Broward and Palm Beach Counties, emerged as one of the easiest places to live in the nation.
