Not all beachfront communities are created equal. Each of the following idyllic locations listed offer their own distinct character and things to do. Here are some of Florida’s most charming beach towns.
The list begins with the town of Islamorada; a whimsical paradise located at the halfway point in the Florida Keys. Next on the list is a locale famous for celebrating pirate culture, Fernanadina Beach. Anna Maria Island is made up of tropical homes, friendly neighbors, funky boutiques and local cafes. You won't find hotel chains or towers here. Following Anna Maria Island is beautiful Key Biscayne. Key biscayne is a South Florida island village with a sophisticated feel.
Other superb little towns that made the list are Captiva Island, Seaside, Vero Beach, Pass-A-Grille Beach, Gasparilla Island and Delray Beach. All of the wonderful beachfront locales are full of charm and personality. But please beware - if you go to any of these tropial paradises, you may find yourself never wanting to leave!
