For the past 15 years, Miami Beach has played host to the world-famous annual art show, Art Basel. Art Basel focuses on contemporary and modern art, collecting more than 250 galleries and 4,000 artists from across the globe in front of the art world’s top curators, museums and collectors. The Art Basel weekend has become a major draw for the city of Miami, with major events and parties being held in conjunction with the show.
Since launching in 2002, Art Basel has become North America’s premier art fair filled with amazing contemporary and modern art including paintings, films and videos, sculptures, drawings, photography, digital art and installations from more than 4,000 artists.
