Not only are many new construction projects in South Florida resuming normal activity after Irma this week, but other anticipated residential developments are actively scheduling official groundbreakings. Aria on the Bay and Canvas are progressing as planned, with contractors only missing a surprisingly low 4 to 5 days of work. In the meantime, the developers of Elysee Miami awarded commission checks in advance of the planned fall 2017 groundbreaking.
Elysee is officially set to rise 57 stories directly on the water in the booming Miami neighborhood of Edgewater. The boutique-style development will be comprised of 100 spacious half-floor and full-floor condos. Each spectacular residence will offer direct views of Biscayne Bay. Designed by Arquitectonica, the 3-tiered tower is set to become one of Miami's most iconic skyscrapers.
The resumption of construction on some of South Florida's most exciting upcoming developments and the commencement of new residential projects is welcome news after Irma.
