South Florida saw the third-highest annual home price increase in the United States. The price of existing single-family homes in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties rose 9.2 percent in February, compared to the year prior. Only Denver, Colorado and San Francisco, California saw larger gains.
Monthly gains in South Florida home prices are starting to slow down, but experts agree that the slower growth is a sign of a healthy real estate market. Home prices in South Florida grew 1.1 percent from January to February of this year.
