Demolition has commenced at the future site of architect Zaha Hadid's One Thousand Museum condo tower. The gas station located at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard is currently being torn down and the underground storage tanks removed.
One Thousand Museum will rise 62 stories in Downtown Miami. The ultra-exclusive tower will contain 83 luxury condos, with views of Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach. In the past 30 days, two 15-million-dollar-plus condominiums in One Thousand Museum have sold.
Groundbreaking for the luxury tower is scheduled for December, with an official ceremony planned During Art Basel. Building completion is schedule for 2018.
