North Shore Open Space Park in Miami Beach's beautiful North Shore neighborhood is set to receive a stunning new makeover. The 35-acre oceanfront park will get paved walkways, a paved beach walk, more open vegetation and two additional entrances. The paved beach walk will allow for roller blading and biking all the way from 87th Terrace to South Beach's South Pointe Park.
The plans for North Shore Park were presented by WEST 8 Urban Design and Landscaping and will be funded by Terra Group. Both Terra Group and WEST 8 are currently working on Eighty Seven Park, a luxury oceanfront condominium development located directly north of the park. Residents of Eighty Seven Park will enjoy unobstructed ocean and park views. Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano designed Eighty Seven Park to appear as a transparent ship floating above the trees of the park below.
Eighty Seven Park will be comprised of 70 luxury oceanfront condos, offering 1,018 square feet to 4,140 square feet of living space. The 1- to 5-bedroom condominiums will feature private elevators and expansive terraces with summer kitchens. Full-floor residences will provide unobstructed, 360-degree views.
