According to data recently released by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Miami is the second most popular American city for international visitors. New York City took the top spot, and Los Angeles came in third.
Miami claimed 12.5 percent of the market share, with New York City claiming 29.9 percent. However, Miami is growing much faster. In 2014, foreign visits to Miami increased by an impressive 21 percent, which was enough to set a new record. International visits to New York City only rose 2 percent.
