The real estate market in Broward County continued to post gains in October. Home sales and prices in the county both increased.
Single-family home sales jumped 14.8 percent in October on a year-over-year basis, while condo sales rose 5.3 percent in the same time period. The median single-family home price in Broward inched up 1.9 percent compared to October 2013. The median price of a condo increased 2.9 percent in the same time period.
Homebuyers in Broward County continue to have more inventory to choose from, as the number of single-family homes and condominiums listed for sale also increased.
