Broward County is a hot spot for new condominium developments. Fort Lauderdale is currently competing well with Miami for new projects, according to South Florida developers.
The developer of The Gale stated that he's never seen the area more vibrant and now is the time to jump in. The Gale is currently in the process of converting reservations to contracts, with groundbreaking planned by the end of the year.
Price stability is a big factor in the success of new Fort Lauderdale real estate. Comparable developments in Miami-Dade are asking significantly more per square foot.
