An informal poll done by an Argentina-based news source asked Latin Americans to pick their favorite place to live. The respondents overwhelmingly chose Miami.
The survey polled 3,921 Latin Americans who picked from a list of well-known Latin American hubs. Nearly a quarter of those polled chose Miami as the most desirable city, followed by Montevideo, Uruguay and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Quito, Ecuador came in last, with less than 1 percent of the vote.
Although informal, the poll does reflect recent real estate trends in Miami. Drawn in by the beautiful beaches and vibrancy of the city, Latin Americans have been actively purchasing real estate in Miami.
