The anticipated Miami Worldcenter is scheduled to break ground at the end of 2014. The 10-block, high-end project will further enhance downtown Miami.
The first phase of the Miami Worldcenter will include one million square feet of retail space and an 1800-room Marriott Hotel. A landscaped pedestrian walkway will link the Mall at the Miami Worldcenter and the Marriott. The pedestrian street will be lined with shopping boutiques, European-style cafés and restaurants.
The Miami Worldcenter will be located behind Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum luxury condo tower. The first phase of the Miami Worldcenter should be completed in 2016, and One Thousand Museum is scheduled for completion in 2018. One Thousand Museum residents will enjoy a backyard full of luxury shopping destinations and fine dining.
